Next thing to look at is the #__assets table. That is where the access rules are located. Most of mine have no rules. Look at the Root Asset rules column. Mine has this:I mentioned I am rusty on this sort of problem - I find it hard to imagine what was done wrong and thus what the solution might be. The Super User permissions are supposed to be locked.
